Global Ukraine 2.0, a community management platform for Ukrainian diaspora leaders

The Global Ukraine Foundation was created after the EuroMaidan Revolution in Ukraine, its mission is to connect “people, places and ideas” to create positive disruptive impact for Ukrainians everywhere they live. Through different tools under the umbrella name of “people cultural & business diplomacy”, the leaders of Ukrainian communities work 1) on helping the Ukrainian brands to go globally and 2) on bringing back the intellectual and financial resources their homeland needs to win the battle for freedom and democracy.
The Foundation developed a diaspora community management application and online platform Global Ukraine (iOS, Android & web) to 1) connect the leaders of the Global Ukrainians network living in more than 80 countries, and to 2) to build bridges with Ukrainian start-ups, companies, hromadas, brands worldwide.
This innovative technology is focused on a new #SmartNation approach, empowering the leaders and communities by giving them new opportunities to share their knowledge and social capital, and to generate new development opportunities.
“Connecting one nation’s leaders, who have the more prominent entrepreneurial skills and empowering them for a global level cooperation – it’s an extraordinary and powerful development challenge” – according to Dr Violeta Moskalu, the founder of Global Ukraine Foundation and the initiator of the Global Ukrainians network.
“The development of this decentralized community management platform for Ukrainian diaspora leaders ready to help reforming Ukraine became the strongest challenge I’ve ever had in my life, may be after my PhD defense in Lorraine University in France”, Dr Moskalu adds.
“We have a strong vision how all this global intellectual capital should be connected with local development issues in Ukraine, in order to assure positive reforms and modernization of our home country. My professional background gives me a very strong confidence, that our Global Ukraine application is a kind of “tech for good”, and we can predict a strong impact in the next decade for Ukraine. By the way, this is also a good opportunity for Israeli Ukrainian Alliance, because new business connexions with all our business clubs all around the world are possible, through our Global Business Hub”.
